"As a female artist and as a member of GirlsDrawinGirls, I love to center women in my art, and Dora Standpipe is definitely one of the most memorable for me in the Chuck Jones canon. With my concept, I wanted her to finally catch a break. Relax and enjoy some "me time"-- and where better to spend it than at the Rabbit of Seville Salon? This piece was also a very fun excuse to play with mediums I don't often use, like collage clay, wood, and fake fruit."
